We'll be performing works by Benjamin Britten, Cole Porter, Billy Strayhorn, and Laura Nyro, featuring the poetry of W.H. Auden, James Baldwin, and Adrienne Rich. • Okay, so now that the wild costumes and hamantaschen are behind us . . . on March 12, we're playing an acoustic show at one of the best spots in NYC to hear music: Caffe Vivaldi. Why is it one of the best? Well, not only is it a warm, intimate space with good acoustics, great food, and a perfect atmosphere . . . it's also named after the Baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi, one of the most famous redheads in the history of music! And, given our bandleader Ari's affinity for redheads, we figure it's only appropriate. Seriously, this is an awesome venue, and our repertoire will run the gamut!
